We thought we should take a trip on the Conwy Line as usually it would be too far for us to travel on a day trip. And again, there was scope to offer two walks with one of 8 miles and the other being 4 miles. On the longer route the start was at Dolwyddelan and from there we made our way across the hills to Ty Hyll. Those on the shorter walk started from Ty Hyll, so both groups (at different times) followed the same path alongside the river, which allowed a stop off to see the Swallow Falls and the Miners’ Bridge.
The weather was so kind to us, a bit cool on the uplands but it meant we could see for miles. And along the river the dappled light was so beautiful.
